Artwork Requirements
At Black Mountain Clothing, the quality of your finished garments starts with the quality of the artwork you provide. To ensure sharp print, clean embroidery and accurate colour reproduction, please supply your logo in one of the formats below.
Vector Files
Vector files allow us to scale your logo to any size without losing clarity. They produce the cleanest print results and allow for accurate embroidery digitising. If you have access to a vector file, this is always the best option.
High-Resolution Files (300dpi minimum at actual print size)
If your logo will be 10cm wide on the garment, the file must be 300dpi at 10cm wide. Increasing the size of a small file will reduce quality and may affect the final result.

Embroidery has different technical requirements from print. Where adjustments are needed for the best finish, we will always advise you before production begins.

These typically result in blurred print or poor embroidery detail.
โก Our Process
The process below applies to new logos that require digitising or setting up for the first time. For repeat orders where your logo is already set up, we go straight to production once payment and approval are received.
๐ Production Times

๐จ Additional Artwork Services
Where artwork requires preparation before production, the following charges may apply. We will always confirm with you before applying any artwork service charges. Each service covers the initial set-up only โ minor adjustments are included, but significant redesigns or unlimited revisions are not. If more substantial changes are needed, an additional charge will apply.
Please note: tweaks and adjustments to existing logos may also require a design charge. These are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and we will always discuss any costs with you before proceeding.
Embroidery Digitisation โ ยฃ20 + VAT
Converts your artwork into an embroidery file, including minor path adjustments to suit the embroidery process. Up to 2 rounds of amendments are included. Further changes beyond this will be subject to an additional charge.
Text Embroidery Set-Up โ ยฃ12 + VAT
Covers the time to set up and digitise text-based embroidery (e.g. names, numbers, simple wording). Up to 2 rounds of amendments are included. Further changes beyond this will be subject to an additional charge.
Vector Redraw โ ยฃ20 + VAT
Suitable for simple, flat 2D logo designs only. If your design contains complex detail, gradients, or photographic elements, it will need to be recreated by a graphic designer rather than redrawn.
